Finance and Administration Department
This department is composed of the Finance Board, Bishop and a team of officers working in his office, including Vicar General and General Secretary, Chief Accountant and other staff members responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the Diocese under the Office of the General Secretary.
The main responsibility of this department is to coordinate, supervise, and monitor the implementation of all administrative and operational activities of the Diocese at every level of the Church. Its specific responsibilities include human resource management, overall administration, and financial management of the Diocese to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of Church activities.
The department oversees the implementation of planned activities, programmes, and both short-term and long-term projects undertaken by the Church in order to achieve the Diocese’s overall goals and objectives.
It also ensures full financial accountability with existing guidelines and policies, preparing budget, reporting and enabling the effective functioning of all diocesan activities at every level.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Administration
Coordinating and supervising administrative activities across the Diocese to ensure efficient and effective implementation of Church activities.
Human Resource Management
Managing human resources and supporting effective coordination of staff and personnel within the Diocese.
Financial Management
Managing diocesan finances in accordance with existing guidelines and policies to support the effective functioning of Church activities.
Budget Preparation
Preparing budgets to support planned activities, programmes, projects, and the overall goals and objectives of the Diocese.
Coordination and Monitoring
Coordinating, supervising, and monitoring implementation of administrative and operational activities at every level of the Church.
Programmes and Projects
Overseeing planned activities, programmes, and short-term and long-term projects undertaken to achieve diocesan goals and objectives.
Financial Accountability and Good Administration
The department ensures full financial accountability in accordance with existing guidelines and policies, while supporting budgeting, reporting, administration, and effective implementation of all diocesan activities at every level of the Church.
