Church and Community Mobilization Process (CCMP)
The Church and Community Mobilization Process (CCMP) is a programme designed to empower churches and communities to identify and make effective use of the opportunities and resources available to them for sustainable development. This is achieved through training, mentoring, and the use of various participatory tools that enable communities to recognize and maximize their God-given potential.
The programme helps churches and communities overcome dependency by encouraging the wise and productive use of local resources such as land, rivers, forests, favorable climate, technology, and other opportunities provided by the government and development partners. By utilizing these resources effectively, communities are better equipped to improve their livelihoods and achieve sustainable socio-economic development.
Through this programme, communities are also supported in a range of practical development activities, including livestock farming, the production and processing of animal feed, the establishment of tree nurseries and tree planting in different areas to promote environmental conservation and sustainable resource management.
